As all Sea Kayak day trips are 100% weather dependable, we highly recommend a stay of 4 Days/3 Nights in the Peninsula.
Requirements:
- Physical shape in accordance with the activity to carry out.
- Will to strictly follow the indications of the guides, and to enjoy adventure in Patagonia.
- The outings are made only in good weather conditions.
- No prior experience required.
- Minimum number of passengers: 2.
Notes:
- Trips may vary according to the time of the year and weather conditions.
- We have to keep in mind that this is a true touring kayak day trip, which means that we are self-sufficient, carrying in our kayaks everything we need for the trip.
- Depend on the weather conditions the kayaking outing could be cancelled or re-scheduled for another date.
- Transportation: Departures are from Puerto Piramides and the use of the vehicle is exclusive for the activity provide by Patagonia Explorers. Transfer from Puerto Madryn or Trelew are not included.
- Patagonia Explorers provides: Touring Sea Kayaks; Paddling gear; Safety equipment; Nutritious lunch. Specialized English speaking Sea Kayak Guide as well as sea kayak touring instruction.

The perfect introduction to sea kayak touring set in the beautiful Peninsula Valdes.
Your day will begin with instruction on basic sea kayak touring techniques and on-the-water safety considerations.
Once on the water we’ll make sure you are comfortable and secure before setting off.
In the early afternoon we will visit a favorite beach of ours, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch.
Along with an impressive amount of wildlife diversity makes the Gulf unique in their beauty and provides excellent natural history learning and photographic opportunities.
Patagonia Explorers provides kayaks, safety equipment, a nutritious lunch, as well as sea kayak touring instruction.
No kayaking experience required: Our sea kayak trips are suitable for novice and experienced paddlers alike.
Day Trips
From our base in Puerto Piramides, where the adventure begins, we invite you to discover and explore Peninsula Valdes in a different way.
We offer half and full day outings. Groups are kept small to offer personalized attention, safety and minimize our impact on the environment. Specialized guides run each trip, enabling one to fully take advantage of the outing.
Wildlife Viewing.: For special whale watching local regulations and safety reason, there are some points to keep in mind. Some kayak outings are done in areas with high concentration of whales, for this reason we will paddle strictly close to the shore line; avoiding any approximation to the whales. Observation will be kept at a distance in order not to modify their normal behavior.
